Ensure you have upgraded to the latest version of Zoom desktop client or mobile app to use this feature.
If you’re setting up Breakout rooms in Zoom, as of October 2020 students can now select which breakout room they want to join.
To allow participants to change/change switch rooms, you have to enable the feature when clicking the Breakout room button in the meeting:
